“Throughout history, it has been the inaction of those who could have acted; the indifference of those who should have known better; the silence of the voice of justice when it mattered most; that has made it possible for evil to triumph.”

Dogbert Lobbies Senator Bayh
Okay, I stole this from Hoosier Access, but I was thinking exactly the same thing when I read the cartoon.
And which Company CEO does Dogbert remind you of, pray tell? Wellpoint, Emmis???? One of the other half-dozen companies for whose board she was so eminently qualified to serve? Not that Evan would ever vote his family's pocketbook. Oh, not in a million years (that was sarcasm, btw).
Does anyone except close relatives of the Bayh's not see humor in this cartoon? And isn't the humor closely followed by the wonderment that Bayh will still be reelected, even after he has been exposed by a cartoon dog????
In no way can Susan Bayh be considered clueless. She's a UCLA grad, remember? The UC system admits only the top 10% of high school grads. This blonde is no dummy!
Say what you like about Evan -- he's the elected official. She's not.
Re: Hoosier This isn't about intelligence it's about influence. No one is questioning her intelligence but she has all of those seats on the board because her husband is a US Senator not because she is a UCLA grad.

Ironically the Senator in the cartoon actually looks a little like Bayh.
