Buchananizing Palin

There is something in politics known as "spin." Basically it involves advocates for one side or another being sent out after an event, such as a convention speech, and persuading the media elite talking heads what the event or speech was really all about.

At the 1992 Republican Convention, I heard Pat Buchanan at the Republican convention give an especially strong speech. The polls immediately following the speech showed that it was a very well-received, and a major boost for the the Bush/Quayle ticket. However, within days Democrat operatives had convinced the media types that the speech in fact was filled with anger, hate and spite. The media types took the bait.

Now, I'm not a big fan of Pat Buchanan. His opposition to free trade and reasonable immigration reform are certainly not views I support. And Buchanan is way too chummy with those who do condone or practice racism. But Buchanan deserved better than how his speech was spun and is portrayed in most history books.

Why bring this up? Following Palin's dynamite speech, I saw the Democrats beginning the Buchanan spin against Palin. Any convention speech is going to have barbs aimed at the other side. But to represent Palin's speech as nothing more than hate-filled prose, well that is a grossly unfair representation. That won't stop the Democrats from trying though.

The Democrats which are now leftists and will do anything to regain power. They have lost all credibility -they are beyond the basic political games. They are the negative to the positive. It is all about the party line. Obama is a marxist by everything he says and has a rocord to show it plus he has a willing media to promote it.

What is the truth?

"Delaware Newspaper Begrudingly Admits Dismissal Of Charges Against Sinclair"
Sen. Joe Biden's son, Delaware Attorney General Joe Biden, III, made a big splash last June from afar by interrupting a press conference at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. in order to execute an arrest warrant against Larry Sinclair issued months earlier through a grand jury sealed indictment. As Sinclair was wrapping up his press conference where he laid out sex and drug allegations against Sen. Barack Obama, D.C. police, acting on an extradition order obtained by AG Biden, handcuffed Sinclair and took him into custody. He was held in a D.C. jail for days before Biden had him extradited to Delaware. This past week, Biden dropped felony charges against Sinclair without any fanfare. At the time of his initial arrest, the Wilmington News-Journal trumped up the arrest in a big news story. Sinclair complained that the newspaper reported facts in its original news story which never appeared in police or court documents. The newspaper's report today was very brief and referred to Sinclair as an "anti-Obama" blogger, making no mention of the connection of the Attorney General's son to Sen. Obama's vice presidential running mate, Sen. Joe Biden. The newspaper reports today:

Charges against a Barack Obama critic, who was arrested for allegedly using counterfeit money orders to pay for a three-week stay at a New Castle hotel in 2007, were dropped last week.

Larry Sinclair's Newark attorney, Fran E. Farren, said he and his client were happy that prosecutors dismissed the felony charge against Sinclair.

"All along, it was our position that this case was more 'civil' than 'criminal' and that Mr. Sinclair was guilty of no criminal act," Farren said.

"Mr. Sinclair has asserted his innocence since he was initially arrested and we are quite pleased that we were able to convince the state to dismiss the charge against him. It was the proper thing to do."

Sinclair, of Duluth, Minn., has made charges about Obama involving sex and drugs on his blog. Sinclair was arrested in June on an outstanding warrant after a Washington, D.C., news conference.

According to Delaware State Police and Delaware Superior Court records, Sinclair paid for a three-week stay at a Rodeway Inn with $2,400 in money orders.

The hotel manager later told police Wachovia refused to honor them.

The newspaper quotes Sinclair's attorney as making the point that this case had always been a civil case and should never have become a criminal case. Shockingly, Sinclair alleges that the key evidence upon which the sealed indictment was issued last February, the money orders in question, were never obtained by the AG's office until August, months after the indictment was obtained. Sinclair alleges that a state employee who is a strong supporter of Obama served as the grand jury foreman which returned the indictment against him. If this isn't a case of abuse of process, I don't know what is. Sadly, the liberals in this country who are fawning all over Obama care more about the rights of foreign, suspected terrorists being held at Gitmo than they do an American citizen like Sinclair. This story deserves the scrutiny of the mainstream media. Nobody is going to convince me that it was a mere coincidence that Biden's son would return a sealed indictment against Sinclair in February weeks after Sinclair surfaced with his charges against Obama, sit on the indictment for four months, spring it on Sinclair in the middle of his D.C. press conference at the NPC in a media-packed room, and then quietly drop all charges as soon as Sen. Joe Biden joined the Obama ticket. Stuff like this just doesn't happen. It's plotted and planned. It's got Obama/Axelrod Chicago politics written all over it.

"Who Paid For Obama's Harvard Law Education?"
There are many questions which remain unanswered about the mysterious Barack Obama. The mainstream media has vetted Gov. Sarah Palin more in the past week than they've bothered to vet Sen. Barack Obama over the past year. When you start digging into Obama's background, you turn up more questions than answers.

Obama's father was a Kenyan citizen and his mother was American. His name as a young child was changed to Barry Soetoro when his mother married Indonesian citizen Lolo Soetoro and moved to Jakarta. Indonesian school records state that Obama was an Indonesian citizen and not an American citizen and that his religion was Islam and not Christian, protestations by Obama to the contrary notwithstanding. When or how Obama acquired U.S. citizenship or changed his name back to Barack Hussein Obama is unclear. A birth certificate produced by the Obama campaign was determined by several document experts to be a forged document.

We know from his autobiography that he had Muslim roommates in college of foreign nationality. Now it turns out that an influential, radical black Muslim with close ties to the Saudi royal family and an outspoken opponent of Israel helped finance Obama's law school education. Obama's benefactor at the young age of 25 is Dr. Khalid Abdullah Tariq al-Mansour a/k/a Donald Warden. Here are some facts you should know about al-Mansour according to a Newmax investigative report:

"He is well known within the black community as a lawyer, an orthodox Muslim, a black nationalist, an author, an international deal-maker, an educator, and an outspoken enemy of Israel."In a 1995 book, “The Lost Books of Africa Rediscovered,” he alleged that the United States was plotting genocide against black Americans. He was the mentor of Black Panther Party founder Huey Newton and his cohort, Bobby Seale. Al-Mansour’s more recent videotaped speeches focus on Muslim themes, and abound with anti-Semitic theories and anti-Israel vitriol. At the same time he was raising money for Obama's education he was representing top members of the Saudi Royal family seeking to do business and exert influence in the United States. He advises Prince Alwaleed bin Talal in his U.S. investments. Prince Talal is most famous for offering $10 million to the City of New York following 9/11, a contribution turned down by Mayor Rudy Giuliani because the Prince said American policies were to blame for the terrorist attacks. Prince Alwaleed has made tens of millions in contributions to Muslim-American charities, some of whose leaders have been charged by our government with terrorism-related ties. Prince Alwaleed also donates millions to Harvard for Islamic studies.Newmax sought a response from the Obama campaign about the financial assistance Obama received from al-Mansour, but the campaign refused to respond. This disclosure came in a very unlikely fashion. Percy Sutton, a prominent African-American businessman, was being interviewed when he described how he first came to know Obama. “I was introduced to (Obama) by a friend who was raising money for him,” Sutton told NY1 city hall reporter Dominic Carter. “The friend’s name is Dr. Khalid al-Mansour, from Texas,” Sutton said. “He is the principal adviser to one of the world’s richest men. He told me about Obama.” "Sutton, the founder of Inner City Broadcasting, said al-Mansour contacted him to ask a favor: Would Sutton write a letter in support of Obama’s application to Harvard Law School?"Think about how many mainstream media reports there have been this past week trying to link Gov. Sarah Palin to the Alaskan Independence Party, which supports secession from the United States. Yet, this revelation about Obama's past received no attention from the news media. Why? Obama critic Andy Martin thinks the revelation is a big one. "This latest disclosure may be the 'smoking gun' that discredits Obama and destroys his candidacy." "And I think I know where it came from. I honestly do not see Obama surviving financial links to a close adviser of a member of the Saudi Arabia monarchy, not when Saudis were the instigators of 9/11." "Even a slight link to Saudi money would disqualify anyone from the presidency in the mind of almost every American." I agree with Martin that it is a big revelation. But this American news media has already decided Obama is The One. I have little confidence this will make its way into any mainstream media reports.
