State Revenues Continue to Climb While Gambling Revenue Way Down

Indiana's July revenue report reveals that actual revenues are up 11.1% compared to year-to-date revenue from last year.  Leading the way is a 57.8% increase in revenue from corporate income taxes of 15.9% from individual income taxes.

On the down side, revenue from riverboat gambling is down 75.9% while revenue from racino wagering is down 11.7%.

Throw in the casinos being built down in Cincy and don't hold your breath that there will be any rebound in the revenue generated by Indiana's Casinos.
