Click on to enlargen. I took these of the 16th street Bush Stadium where the Indians used to play. I snapped the picture by sticking my camera phone between a crack in the left field fence. Isn't it amazing how quickly Mother Nature takes back over when man is no longer present?

The INTENT on the part of the city is to let it go to pot, then the city can say we need to tear it down to make way for *whatever*.
Worked well for the MSA site, huh ?
You make a good point.
One thing I don't understand about Winona. How could the building be in that bad of shape, littered with medical equipment and asbestos, when it was being used just the year previous for some kind of law enforemcent type training.
Yeah, really.
It's ALMOST like someone's not telling the truth !
lol
I remember going there as a kid. It was great having a sports stadium not too far from where I live.
Now it's a decaying old building in a part of the city that the government doesn't give a crap about.
Think the Parks Department is ever going to do anything about the land?
They were going to let it go, tear it down, and give the land to IUPUI so they could build yet another building.
Now IUPUI doesn't want to build there, they want to build UP at their downtown campus, not out.
This is why Wishard has to relocate...not to help the poor, but to make room for IUPUI.
