Local Democrats Falsely Accuse Republican Councilors Of Being For County-Wide School School Consolidation

Councilor Marilyn Pfisterer
The Democrats are apparently targeting westside Republicans and saying they are for school consolidation of IPS and the township schools. Here's an e-mail from Marilyn Pfisterer responding to that charge. Councilor Bob Lutz has made a similar response to allegations made against him.
I just heard today that there is a mailing out there that says I support school consolidation.

Just so there is no mistake. I AM NOT IN FAVOR OF SCHOOL CONSOLIDATION!!!!!!

Wayne Township schools have a new and dynamic Superintendent----and Speedway Schools are ranked second in the state! "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!"

So be assured that I do NOT support consolidating schools--and remember this on Tuesday when you vote. I am VERY upset that this false information has been sent about my position on schools. If someone would lie about this, what else will they lie about.

Please pass this on to others since there is not time for me to make phone calls to all voters. I appreciate your help to set the record straight.

Of course, Indianapolis City-County councilors don't have any say as to consolidation anyway.
