Motorcyclist Attacked in Downtown Indiana - During Rush Hour
It's just best to avoid Downtown Indy, altogether.
If you don't get mugged, some cop will steal from you for going over those ridiculous 25 mph limits.
And this, just after that report saying that downtown was so "safe". I suppose Matt Tully should thank his lucky stars that his mugger didn't have lumber.
Wow. I guess Indianapolis Downtown Inc won't be meeting its contractual obligation to reduce crime in the mile square.
On a more serious note: In your previous post you mentioned that crime may or may not be up. The trend lately is of very visible, very violent crime - in the daytime, to boot. Sometimes we silently cede the night to the bad guys. But, it is 10 times more frightening to see such brutal crime in the daylight hours.
That is what Ballard will have to run against next year.
I think I saw one of the guys running east on Ohio st right down the middle of street. I assumed he was running after a bus.
Just a block from Tully's spot. And not that far from the two recent White River episodes.
