I heard just a bit of the Greg Garrison show on the way in this morning. Garrison offered enthusiastic praise for Indianapolis area prosecutors saying they, including Marion County Prosecutor Carl Brizzi, take "no holiday for crime."
Apparently Garrison, who is an attorney and has worked in the prosecutor's office, does not consider white collar crime to be "real crime." For example, Prosecutor Brizzi has long ignored the problems with mortgage and real estate fraud in this city and failed to prosecute those involved.
Apparently Garrison also doesn't consider the white public corruption to be a crime either. As Marion County Prosecutor, Carl Brizzi is the one responsible for prosecuting state and Marion County officials for wrongdoing. These past 7 years have been nothing more than a free pass for those elected and appointed officials wanting to push the envelope on public wrongdoing. Those folks have absolutely no fear of prosecution. I know that Brizzi's office has been provided evidence of corruption by elected and appointed officials, evidence that has just been repeatedly ignored.
A "holiday for crime?" When it comes to white collar crime and public corruption, Garrison is right that Marion County Prosecutor Carl Brizzi has not taken a "holiday." Rather he has taken a seven year vacation.

Garrison also referred to Brizzi as 'a client' this morning.
"Don't bite the hand that feeds you."
When did Marion County get a prosecutor?
